Kansas Mid-Am Team: Walsworth, Troutman lead
OLATHE, Kan. (Oct. 2, 2012) -- After two rounds of play at the 28th Mid-Amateur Team and 17th Senior Team Championships at Shadow Glen Golf Club, familiar names are the top of the leaderboard. KGA veterans Don Walsworth and Jon Troutman are at 14-under par and lead the the Mid-Amateur Team Championship by one shot over the team of Kit Grove and Tyson Osborn. The cut line for the Mid-Am Team was 3-over par 147. 34 teams made the cut for the final round. In the Senior Team Championship, past champions Mike Grosdidier and Mark Elliott hold a commanding 5-shot lead at 15-under par 129 total. The cut line in the Senior Team Championship was 1-over par 145. 18 teams made the cut for the final round. Tee times for the final round, four-ball format, will begin at 8:00 am from #1 and #10 tees.

ABOUT THE Kansas Mid-Amateur & Senior Team

Team event with three divisions (Mid-Amateur, Senior, Super Senior). Gross & net scoring for all teams.

54 holes of team stroke play contested over two days. 36 holes on day one, 18 holes on day two. Different format each round. There is no cut.

Round One - Shamble
Round Two - Foursomes
Round Three - Four-Ball

Must be a member of the Kansas Golf Association.
