Hargett/Suber take S. Carolina Players Four-Ball
BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (Sept. 16, 2012) -- Columbia Country Club members, Eddie Hargett and Whit Suber shot a final round score of 65 for a two day total of 129 and three shot victory in the SCGA Players Four Ball Championship at Columbia Country Club. The Blythewood residents combined for eight birdies and one bogey to clip the second place team of Steve and Chase Liebler.

Finishing first in the First Flight was Rich Houghton and Brad Tolson with a score of 136. The Second Flight had a tie for first at 139 with Andy Gianoukos and Brian Lott matching the score of John Asay and Cary Phillips.

The 28th Annual SCGA Players Four Ball Championship was played on the par 72 – 6,935 yard Columbia Country Club in Blythewood, S.C. The field consisted of 64 two-man teams playing Best Ball format conducted over thirty six holes. The Players Four Ball Championship is one of 19 Major Championships conducted annually by the South Carolina Golf Association.
