Montero wins 4th straight Ft. Worth Super Sr.
FORT WORTH, Texas (Sept. 12, 2012) -- Lupe Montero captured the 2012 Super Senior Wednesday with a 67-75, bettering his closest competitor of Larry Baker by 10 shots.

This victory makes the fourth straight year Lupe has won this event.

This year's event was held on both the Hills and River course at Pecan Valley.

Rudy Gonzales captured the First Flight with a 151 over Lyndal Womack; Joe Boatman edged out Jay Day in the Second Shot by one shot with a two day total of 160; in the Third Flight Steve Green fired a 168 and beat Jerry Livingston by two shots and in the Fourth Flight (net) Billy Keck had a net 134 and beat his closest competitor, Dan Dehart by six shots.

ABOUT THE Fort Worth Super Seniors

Format will be 36 holes stroke play, flighted by handicap. Open to male amateurs age 60 and over by date of event.
