Ault leads Penn. Mid-Am after 1st-round 67
LAFAYETTE HILL, Penn. (Sept. 10, 2012) -- Christopher Ault fired a sizzling 5-under 67 to take a two-shot lead over Jack Wallace heading into Round 2 at the 2012 Pennsylvania Mid-Amateur at The Ace Club.

Ault's 67 was one of five rounds under par as a solid field took aim at the association's 19th Middle-Amateur title.

One shot behind Wallace's 3-under 69 was Jeff Frazier (2-under, 70). Todd Vonderheid and Thomas Timby Jr. are tied for fourth at 1-under.

ABOUT THE Pennsylvania Mid-Amateur

36-hole stroke play event open to open to any male amateur golfer who is a member of a club belonging to the Pennsylvania Golf Association and is 25 years of age or older. Qualifying is required for those who do not meet the exemption criteria.
