Birren wins by two at Pasadena Senior
PASADENA, Calif. (Sept. 7, 2012) -- Sean Birren fired a final-round 73 to follow up a stellar second-round 68 to win the 2012 Pasadena City Senior Championship.
Birren shot a first-round 68 to start the week strong and maintained consistent play throughout to seal the title at Brookside Park's C.W. Koiner Course.
Benjamin Lein was two shots back at 72-63-72-75--282 to take the runner-up position at 4-under.
One shot being Lein was Jon Levitt, who went 70-67-74-72--283 for third place.

ABOUT THE Pasadena City Senior
54 hole individual stroke play championship for
seniors (ages 50+), flighted by handicap. Gross and
net
competitions (net players play 36 holes). The
Championship Flight is a
gross
flight. Entrants must have a verifiable low index
of
4.0 or below. The Net Flights are open to
players
with a low index ranging from 4.1 to 31.8.
Entrants
with higher indexes must play down to a 31.8
handicap index. The field will be divided into
three
flights, dependent on the number of entries
received.
