ATLANTA, Georgia (June 29, 2012) -- The field of players within reach of winning the 2012 Dogwood Invitational narrowed today with the 54-hole cut to the top 40 and ties.
With the top five players, Bruce Woodall, MJ Maguire, Ben Kohles, Michael Kim, Curtis Thompson and Bobby Wyatt all scoring under par, the talented field of players will tee off Saturday to set-up what promises to be another dramatic finish to a summer classic in men's amateur golf.
Woodall leads the tournament overall at 14 under, shooting a 69 today. He holds a one shot advantage over MJ Maguire and is two shots clear of Ben Kohles. The leaders are followed by Michael Kim in fourth, with Curtis Thompson and Bobby Wyatt tied for fifth.
