Tenhundfeld battles back at Cincinnati Women's Am
CINCINNATI, Ohio (June 20, 2012) -- Megan Tenhundfeld was four holes down to Kara Brinkmann with five to play as she stood on the 14th tee at the Greater Cincinnati Met Women's Amateur Golf Tournament. In a miraculous comeback, Tenhundfeld won four of the last five holes to send the match into extra holes.

Both players would have the 19th and 20th holes with pars, but when Brinkmann stumbled with bogey on the 21st hole, Tenhundfeld would make par and punch her ticket into the quarterfinals.

ABOUT THE Cincinnati Women's Amateur

Open to women amateurs who are members of the GCGA. Format consists of one round of stroke play to determine a round of 16 championship match play bracket, and flighted match play brackets of 8 players each.
