Rain delays at Western Junior
VILLAGE OF GOLF, FL - The 95th Western Junior championship is back underway after a three-hour rain delay during Wednesday's second round.
Play was halted at 10:20 a.m. due to heavy rains, but resumed at 1:20 p.m. The rain has stopped falling for the time being at the Country Club of Florida, allowing enough the morning wave to return to the course to complete their 18-hole rounds.
All afternoon tee times were pushed back three and a half hours, with the first scheduled tee time of the afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
Those in the afternoon wave who will not finish their rounds before dark will resume their second rounds Thursday morning, thus delaying the 36-hole cut. The time is still to be determined.
