Gerard, Kamborn takes titles at the Hudson Junior Invitational
HUDSON, Ohio (June 14, 2012) -- Matthew Gerard, Rocky River, carded rounds of 74-70-73--217 to claim the Boys division title at the 2012 Hudson Junior Invitational.

Chase Johnson, Beberton, Ohio, was joint second with scores of 73-76-70--219. Nicholas Crozier from Canada signed for 74-74-71--219.

In the Girls division Fai Khamborn, Cincinnati, Ohio, carded rounds of 78-74-76--228 to win by three strokes over Jessica Porvasnik, Hinckley Ohio, who posted 74-75-82--231.

ABOUT THE Hudson Junior Invitational

The Hudson Junior Invitational is a 54 hole stroke play competition. The field consists of top ranking junior boys and girls ages 15 through 18 years old. Selections are based on previous tournament experience with emphasis based on national tournament finishes. The field represents a fair representation of boys and girls and a cross- section of states and countries.
