Hickok leads by 3 at Pacific Northwest Senior
CLE ELUM, Wash. (June 13, 2012) – Today marks the opening round of the Pacific Northwest Senior Amateur Championship played on the Rope Rider and Tumble Creek Club at the Suncadia Resort. Mike Hickok of Kirkland, WA was the only player in the 77 player field to shoot par or better. Hickok fired an even par round of 72 and holds a three stroke lead. His round included three birdies and three bogies at the par 72 Rope Rider Course.
Keith Crimp of Ellensburg, WA, Larry Daniels of Seattle, WA, Harry Ferguson of Invermere, BC and Jim Sparkman of Moses Lake, WA shot 3-over par 75 and are tied for second place.
The duo of Richard Jonson of Seattle, WA and Gerard Stoddart of Calgary, AB are tied for 6th at 76.
The second round of the 54-hole event continues tomorrow on the Tumble Creek Club.

Format: 54-hole Stroke Play Competition for seniors
and super seniors with the following
divisions:
Senior Championship (55+) – Contestants entering
in the Senior Championship will
compete in individual competition only (gross only)
and will play from a separate set of
tees, at a longer yardage.
Open Division (55+) – Contestants entering the
Open Division will compete in an
individual and a four-ball partnership competition
(gross and net) and will compete from a
shorter yardage. Players will be divided into flights
according to age for individual
competition only.
Super Senior Championship (65+) – Contestants
entering in the Super Senior
Championship will compete in individual competition
only (gross only) and will play from a
separate set of tees, at a slightly shorter yardage.
