MEMPHIS, Tenn. (June 13, 2012) -- With its corporate headquarters overlooking the #2 green at TPC Southwind, True Temper had the home field advantage at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. It was consistency and accuracy of Dynamic Gold that won the day at this weekend's PGA TOUR event.

Playing in only his second event after a back injury cost him nearly three months off from the PGA TOUR, the FedEx St. Jude champion won with Dynamic Gold X100. He birdied the 16th and 17th holes on Sunday to shot a 66 and finish 9-under 271 and collect his sixth career victory on the PGA Tour.

"From working with the pros at our mobile Shaft Lab Tour Van to visiting with all of the golf enthusiasts in attendance, it's always an amazing experience to have a PGA TOUR event right in your own backyard and chalking up another win makes it even more special," says Scott Hennessy, president and CEO of True Temper Sports.

According to the official shaft count, there were 132 sets of True Temper shafts in play at the FedEx St. Jude Classic. The victory marks the 13th win for Dynamic Gold shafts this year on the PGA TOUR. In addition, Dynamic Gold shafts also won this week on the Nationwide Tour. The winner of the Mexico Open scored his first Nationwide win and moved to fifth in the rankings playing Dynamic Gold X100 in his irons.

The Number One selling shaft in golf, Dynamic Gold is preferred by skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight. Dynamic Gold has earned world-renown respect as the winningest shafts in the history of the game.
