Medalist Woulfe in Semi's at Florida Senior Match Play
FORT MYERS, Fla. (June 12, 2012) -- The semi-finals are set at the 7th Senior Amateur Match Play Championship. The event is being conducted at The Club at Renaissance in Fort Myers and runs through Thursday, June 14th.
In the Senior Division, the medalist Rick Woulfe, of Fort Lauderdale, advanced to the semi-finals after defeating past champion Pete Andrews, of Lithia, 2 & 1 in the round of 16, and Gary Saft, of Fort Myers, in 19 holes, to reach the semis. Joining Woulfe in the semi-finals will be Kevin Macy, of Tampa, Howard Logan, of Naples, and Dennis Brady, of Melbourne.
In the Super Senior Division, The 2007 Champion Jim DuBois, of Coral Springs advanced to the semifinals after defeating Edward Garver, of Land O' Lakes, 2 and 1. DeBois will be joined by Bill Feehan, of Marco Island, Ron Cleland, of Naples, and Jack Ramsey, of Germantown, TN.
Rollie Walcott, of Naples, and Roger Schmidt, Bonita Springs, provided the shots of the tournament on Sunday's seeding round. Both players made a hole-in-one on the par three 12th hole.

ABOUT THE Florida Senior Match Play
The Senior Championship is for those
individuals
over the age of 55. Two age divisions, 55-64
and
65 and over, will compete with one round of
stroke play qualifying followed by single
elimination match play rounds to determine
winners in each division.
