MEMPHIS, Tenn. (May 29, 2012) -- The No. 1 shaft manufacturer in golf, True Temper announces that its Dynamic Gold and DG Spinner shafts captured big wins on both sides of the Atlantic this weekend. Victories at the BMW PGA Championship and Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial showcased the shafts' extreme level of performance and preference among the world's top players.

Playing Dynamic Gold in his irons and DG Spinner in his wedges, the winner of the 2012 BMW PGA Championship scored a commanding four-stroke victory in Surrey, England, and regained his Number One position in the world. It was his second consecutive BMW PGA Championship title with Dynamic Gold.

Meanwhile on the PGA TOUR, the champion of the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial got off to a fast start, firing off six birdies in the first round, and finally captured his second victory at Colonial in three years. He plays Dynamic Gold shafts in his irons and currently ranks fifth in Money Leaders on the PGA TOUR.

"The Colonial is rich with history and the BMW PGA Championship is the biggest event on The European Tour so this has been a very rewarding weekend," says Chad Hall, director of product marketing and global tour operations for True Temper. "Dynamic Gold continues to lead the industry in every measurable category - from shot accuracy to consistency, from victories to earnings. I think the most telling statistic is that Dynamic Gold shafts are trusted by more pros around the world than all other steel shaft brands combined."

The Number One selling shaft in golf, Dynamic Gold is preferred by skilled players seeking a low, penetrating ball flight. Dynamic Gold has earned world-renown respect as the winningest shaft in the history of the game. The DG Spinner's unique design incorporates a special recessed section at the grip exit that decreases launch angles by as much as three degrees and increases the ball's spin rate by as much as 700+ rpm.
