Weather Shortens Illinois State Public Links
Oak Forest, IL (May 7, 2012) -- Wet course conditions and further rain today has rained out day 1 of the 20th Illinois State Public Links Championship. The event will now be an 18-hole championship, held on Tuesday at George Dunne National in Oak Forest.
ABOUT THE Illinois Public Links

This is a 36-hole stroke play event. The entire field will play 18-holes the first day with the low 20 and ties advancing to the final 18- holes.

The championship is open to any amateur who is a current resident of Illinois, with a current Handicap index of 5.4 or lower, and who since January 1 of the current year have been bona fide public course players , and have not held privileges of any course which does not extend playing privileges to the general public or privileges of any private club maintaining its own course. The CDGA reserves the right to approve or reject any entry and extend special invitations.
