Easley, Wisdom take Nebraska Four-Ball title

NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. (April 22, 2102) -- After knocking on the door last year, David Easley of Lincoln & Joel Wisdom of Omaha won their second state Four-Ball at Arbor Links Sunday by 2 shots over a pair of teams that won the last two championships.

2011 champions, Travis Minzel & Scott Tridle, both of Lincoln, held a three shot advantage over three teams following Saturday's first round 65. A final round 73 left them two back tied for second with Jayson Brueggemann of Lincoln & Patrick Duffy of Omaha, 2010 champions.

Lincoln's David McEwen & Bert Newell won the net division title by five with a pair of 65's.

ABOUT THE Nebraska Four-Ball

Entrants must be amateur golfers who are residents of Nebraska and members of the Nebraska Golf Association (NGA). The Championship field will be limited to 52 teams. Format is 36-holes of four-ball stroke play.
