Macdonald leads Arizona Stroke Play Championship
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (April 12, 2012) -- Gerry Macdonald takes a one-shot lead into second-round play at the 2012 Arizona Stroke Play Championship at the TPC Scottsdale Championship Course.
Macdonald fired a 2-under 68 in Thursday's first round and holds onto the top spot on the leaderboard entering Round 2.
Michael Wog and Derek Laporte each fired 1-under 69 and are tied for second place.
A logjam of golfers ended first-round play tied for fourth at even par 70.

ABOUT THE Arizona Stroke Play
72-holes of individual stroke play at gross. A cut to the
low 51 players + ties will be made after 36 holes. This
is an Open event. All players must have amateur status
and have an active membership with an AGA Member
Club to participate. Individuals must carry an up-to-
date handicap index not exceeding 8.0 under the Rules
of Handicapping to be eligible to participate.
