Knoll wins second straight Salinas City Senior title
Salinas, Calif. (March 18, 2012) -- Jim Knoll captured his second straight Salinas City Senior title by defeating Jim Duffy 4 and 3 in the final match. Knoll took down Mark Miller, 2 and 1, in the morning match and he defeated Tom O'Grady in his first match, 4 and 3.
In the Championship division Jerry Ledzinski tied for medal honors but lost his first match to Jack Tardieu in 21 holes. Kraig McLeod, the other medalist won his first match 4 and 3 against Jeff Allen.
Round of 16 matches are still on the course and will be updated once results are made available.
Play concludes next weekend with the quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches

weekends with qualifying the first day, then two
matches each day with a 36-hole final match.
