Dan Bieber paces San Francisco City Senior Qualifying
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (Feb. 22, 2012) -- Dan Bieber of Alamo posted a 5-under 67 to qualify 5 shots clear of his closest competitor (Ken Noonan of Pleasanton, who posted even par 72) on Wednesday at Harding Park.

Bieber already has one early season win under his belt in 2012, at the Amateurgolf.com Silicon Valley Amateur at Coyote Creek. In 2011, the highlight of his season was a T24 finish at the British Senior Amateur.

Posting 73, were Bill Bates of Sacramento and Ken Noonan of Pleasanton. Players who shot 78 or better qualified; a playoff at 79 determined the final spots (results of the playoff and match play brackets will be posted soon here.)

Mark Miller of Antioch is the defending champion.
