DeBellis wins Tracy City Championship

TRACY, CALIF (Oct. 2, 2011) -- Dominic DeBellis (67-76--143) proved today at the Tracy City Championship that not only does he know how to run a tournament, he knows how to win one.

"I can say today was much harder than yesterday, for sure," commented DeBellis after the round. "I had two three-putts and four-putted the 9th green for double today. I shot 40 on the front and played the back 9 even.

Playing with a few younger players that could get no putts to drop also seemed to help DeBellis calm his nerves coming in.

"Today I was lucky. The kids I played with (one Junior and the other a Sophomore in high school) didn't make any putts," DeBellis said. " If they had put some more pressure on me I may have folded like a wet suit."

DeBellis was chased by Matt Ogden, Nicolo Galletti and Andrew Bonner who all shot 145 for the two day event but were unable to catch the leader.

Bob Olds (74-75--149) won the Senior Division on the third hole of sudden death over Bob Williams (75-74--149). Three players were tied for third with scores of 150.
