Mays' claim the KGA Father-Son Championship
MAYETTA, KS. (Aug. 2, 2011) - Jonathan & David May, Wichita, claimed the 13th KGA Father-Son Championship at Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta. The May's shot back to back rounds of 8-under par 64 to win the overall championship by 3 shots over Thane & Grant Ringler of Hutchinson. 

In the Junior Division, Ron & Ronnie McHenry won with a two round total of 11-under par 133. Junior division runnerups were Barry & Blake Porter of Bellville. Junior division net champions were Andrew & William Sandburg of Tonganoxie.

ABOUT THE Kansas Parent-Child

36 holes of four-ball stroke play with two age divisions (Open and Junior). All teams will compete for gross and net scoring.

Open to amateur golfers. One team member must be a KGA member. Both team members must have a USGA Handicap Index.
