Tate's 69 leads Sun Country Women's Championship
SANTA FE, N.M. (July 30th, 2011) - After one round, Kelcey Tate of Albuquerque has estabished herself as the player to beat this weekend. Her first round 69 is the lowest score of the day and featured four birdies and only one bogey. Tate leads a diverse group of players competing for the title of best female player in the region.

"There are so many different styles of play here this week. Bombers, straight hitters... it just goes to show there are multiple ways to get the ball in the hole!
Mother nature is threatening to interrupt round one, but if play concludes on time round two will begin tomorrow morning at 8:00 am.
