Kansas (KGA) Senior Series Championship
PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS (September 8, 2005) -- Michael Shepard of Mulvane, KS, held on to his first round lead and fired a second round 2-under par 69 to shot a two round total of 139 to win by 2 shots. It is the first KGA championship victory for Shepard.
Following the championship, the Ozark Senior Challenge & Association Senior Cup teams were named. Both teams will compete in a state competition versus a team from the Arkansas State Golf Association. That competition will be contested at Hallbrook Country Club, Leawood, KS on October 17-19.
