Fisher/Elliot win at Arkansas Women's Stroke Play
HOT SPRINGS, AK (July 13, 2011) -- Taylor Fisher fired a final round of two-under par 70 and a three-round total of 221 (74-77-70) to win the ASGA Women’s Stroke Play at the Hot Springs Country Club Park Course. Julie Oxendine of Russellville, the defending champion, finished second with rounds of 76-76-77 – 229.
Pat Elliott of Hot Springs successfully defended her title in the ASGA Women’s Senior Stroke Play, also on HSCC’s Park Course, with rounds of 76-76-80 – 232. Jean Mowry of Hot Springs Village was second with 77-82-79 – 238.
