Taylor leads the Nebraska Junior Amateur
LINCOLN, NE. (July 12, 2011) – Omaha’s Drew Taylor moved atop the leaderboard Tuesday at the 43rd Nebraska Junior Amateur Championship. Taylor’s round of 6-under par 66 puts him at 2-under par 142 through 36-holes. Calvin Freeman of Table Rock posted a 2-over par 74, leaving him at 145.
Three other golfers remain within 6 shots of the lead, they are Max Rudder, Omaha (146), Carson Shaake, Omaha (148), and Konnor Oltman, Firth (148).
Following second round action Tuesday a cut was made to the low 40 scores and ties which included a total of 42 golfers.
Wednesday’s final round begins at 7 a.m. off the first tee at the Country Club of Lincoln. The last group begins play at 9:40 a.m. Link to pairings for final round groupings and starting times.

ABOUT THE Nebraska Junior
State championship for Nebraska boys and girls. Boys
will complete 54 holes of stroke play
competition;
18 holes of golf each day to determine a state
champion. Girls play 36 holes on the first two days of
the championship.
