West Virginia Amateur: O'Dell remains in lead
WHITE SULFER SPRINGS, West Virg. (July 6, 2011) -- Hurricane’s Sam O’Dell has held on to his lead at the conclusion of the second round of the 92nd WV Amateur. Making a move today to tie O’Dell is Charleston’s Christian Brand, who shot the low round of the day with a 3-under-par 67 on The Greebrier’s Course.
After the second round, a cut was made to low 40 scores and ties. Many of the state’s best amateur golfers will be playing this week at America’s Resort for a chance to get their name on the famous Greenbrier trophy, as well as a special exemption into The Greenbrier Classic
