Mississippi (MGA) Greenville Invitational
GREENVILLE, MS (June 25, 2011) -- The stage was set for a great Greenville Invitational as 71 players took on the beautiful course. When the day was over Allan Ellis of Greenwood and Hunter Mitchell of Senatobia are the two looking back at the rest of the field. They both shot a two under 70 to have a one shot lead over Michael Naaman, Duke Simmons, and Lee Gladden. Tee times for the second round will begin at 9:00 am. Tomorrow’s round is guaranteed to be a good one with 7 players within two shots of the lead. Good luck to all of our competitors in tomorrow’s final round.

ABOUT THE Greenville Invitational
The tournament is scheduled for 36-holes of stroke
play. There will be two divisions. The Regular
division
and a Super Senior division (age 60 and older). The
Super Senior Division will play from forward tees.
Each
division will be flighted after 18 holes of play. Open
to
all male amateur golfers.
