Southern Junior Championship: Three at the top after day 2
DALLAS, TEXAS (June 16, 2011) -- Salinas, Calif. resident, Jay Burlison, has company at the top of the leaderboard after the second day of play at the 39th Southern Junior Championship being held at the Dallas Athletic Club in Dallas, Texas. A rough finish with three bogeys on the final four holes lead Burlison to a 75 to pair with his opening round of 67 for a two-round total of 142 (-2) .
Both Michael Pisciotta, from Alpharetta, GA and Sean Walsh from Keller, Texas carded even-par rounds of 72 to match Burlison for a share of the lead.
A.J. Crouch from Jacksonville, Fl is alone in fourth place with scores of 68-75--143.
