Vermont Open: Final-round 66 wins it for Bussieres
FAIRLEE, Vt. (June 15, 2011) -- Marc-Etienne Bussieres of Gatineau, Quebec, Canada fired a final-round 66 to win the 2011 Vermont Open at Lake Morey.
Bussieres was steady throughout, finishing the three-day total 66-69-66-201. He was three shots better than runner-up Dave Schuster of New York City.
Jesse Smith of Dover, New Hampshire finished in a tie for third place with Rich Berberian of Derry, New Hampshire. Both players shot 205 over the three days of the event.

A 54-hole stroke play event open to professionals,
PGA
professionals, and amateurs. The top 60 plus ties
will
make the cut for the third round. The top 14
amateurs
will be entitled to play in the third round, with those
not
making cut, playing before the Championship 3rd
round
has teed off. One Day Low Gross Tournament open
to official Vermont Open entries held the day prior to
the event.
