Kansas Four-Ball: Higgs, Ulrich victorious
SPRING HILL, Kan. (June 9, 2011) -- SMU golfer Harry Higgs, Overland Park and UMKC golfer Park Ulrich, Overland Park defeated former KU golfers Kit Grove and Jason Seeman to win the 23rd Kansas Four-Ball Championship at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course in Spring Hill.

The match was all square after 18 holes, but Ulrich made a birdie on the first extra hole to clinch the victory.

In the Masters Divison, Craig Colboch and Mark Elliott of Topeka downed the twin brother duo of Bob and Brian Cole, 3 and 2.

ABOUT THE Kansas Four-Ball

Must be a member of the Kansas Golf Association. 36 holes of four-ball stroke play (gross scoring only) with two divisions: Open (players of any age) and Masters (both players age 30+). Champion to be determined in each division.
