St. Andrew's Links Trophy: Huizing, Romero tied
ST. ANDREWS, Scotland (June 4, 2011) -- Daan Huizing from the Netherlands and Franco Romero from Argentina are tied for the lead on four under par after the second round of the St Andrews Links Trophy.
In breezy conditions on the Old Course Huizing carded a four under par 68 to move into a share of the lead with Romero (pictured) who posted a level par 72.
The first round leader, Welshman Rhys Enoch is a shot further back on three under after a 73 and is tied with Ben Campbell from New Zealand who went round in one under par today.
The cut for the final two rounds on the Old Course tomorrow fell on three over par.
The leading Scot is Scott Gibson from Southerness who matched his opening day 71 on the New Course in the second round to sit on one under par. Greg Paterson, of the New Club in St Andrews, is on one over par after a 71 today.

72-hole stroke play that draws one of the top
amateur fields in Europe. Field plays two rounds, one
at the Old Course and one additional (sometimes
the Jubilee, sometimes the New), then the field
is
cut to the low 40 and ties. The final two rounds
