Matson and Ellis On Top at Washington Best Ball
WALLA WALLA, WASH. (May 26, 2011) -- Rob Matson and partner Nick Ellis's fired a 69 that has given them the round lead by two strokes at the Washington (WSGA) Men's Best-Ball Championship.
Jake and Luke Easterly share second place with Bob Conrad and Greg Richards after both teams carded a 1-under 71.
Three teams are tied for third with a score of even-par 72.
In the Senior division Keith Best and partner Mike Smart are tied with Kirk Galbraith and Chris Indall with scores of 69. They lead the team of Steve McGeorge and partner Paul Reni along with the team of Duke Moscrip and Scott Johnson who were one stroke higher with a first round score of 70.
