Illinois Mid-Am: Mitchell rolls to victory
FLOSSMOOR, Ill. (May 11, 2011) -- Todd Mitchell of Bloomington routed the competition, winning the 19th Illinois State Mid-Amateur championship by an impressive 13 strokes.
Mitchell's three-round total of 69-70-70---209 was 13 shots better than second-place finisher Rick Lehew (74-71-77---222).
John Ramsey (77-73-73---223) of Glenview was third at 223.

ABOUT THE Illinois Mid-Amateur
Open to mid-amateurs age 25 and older who are
resident of the state of Illinois. Qualifying is required
for those who do not meet the exemption criteria.
Format is 54-holes of stroke play with the low 35
and
ties advancing to the final 18-holes.
