Maletis, Lutz lead Senior Masters heading into final round

Chris Maletis fired a 73 to remain alone atop the leaderboard at the 2011 Senior Masters held at Indian Wells.

Maletis, who led by three shots after two rounds of play, is ahead of Douglas Pool by one shot. Ted Smith is four shots off the pace while first-round leader Gary Kirwan has fallen nine shots back.

In the Super Senior division Bob Lutz holds a four-shot advantage on the field and is aiming at an impressive wire-to-wire finish in Friday's final round.

Play will begin Friday at 7:15 a.m. PT.
