Waldrip wins TGA's Medalist Series North event
Fort Worth, TX - Waterchase Golf Club hosted the second Medalist - North event of 2011. The wind was the major defense of the course as players battled 25-35 mph winds for two straight days.
Ted Waldrip (Arlington) was steady throughout Round 2 posting an even par, 72, which included a lone birdie and bogey giving him a one shot victory over current Waterchase Club Champion, Lorenzo Johnson, and Sam Hansard (Lubbock).
Waldrip headed into the second round tied for first with Johnson after both posted scores of 73, one over par, in Round 1.
