PACIFIC GROVE, Calif. (Feb. 19, 2011) -- The PGA Tour may have stolen our "perfect Monterey Peninsula weather" last weekend at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am (and hey, they deserve it after so many lousy years) but a few rain showers did nothing to dampen the spirits, or get in the way of low scores today at Pacific Grove Golf Links.
Mark House and Anthony Valdez posted 64 to grab part of a three way tie for the lead with brothers Anders and Henrik Engell of Norway (Anders plays for St. Mary's in Moraga and his brother is over for a visit) and Terry Foreman/Jamie Looper.
Dan Bieber and Bob Fulton posted 64 in the Senior division to lead two teams by two.
Locals Darian "dad" Houde of Pacific Grove and Jim Peterson of Pebble Beach posted 9-under 61 to lead the Net field by one.
