STEVINSON, CA. (Feb 11, 2011) -- In a effort to be environmentally responsible, the folks at Stevinson Ranch have decided to invest in Solar Power. Their first project will be to cover the entire southern end of the parking lot and install Solar Arrays on top. According to the owner George Kelly, this should provide enough wattage to power the cart barn as well as the pro shop. A follow up project is in the works for another solar array to be installed adjacent to the 17th green to power the pump house.

The Kelley family has also planned a state-of-the-art learning facility to be built on the back end of the driving range. This will house the Stevinson Ranch Golf Academy. Teaching pros, Dave Harmon and Larry Mathews will be equipped with the tools of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), enabling you to improve your game in ways you never imagined. Cameras will be in place to film your action from every angle and launch monitors will be in installed to extract hard data analytics that include club-head speed, ball speed, launch angle and more.

Construction should begin on the 1,800 square foot facility in about 6 weeks, which means that they should be open for business by July 1st.
