- Several new models to dovetail on success of revolutionary 3GEN material
Lamkin's N-DUR with 3GEN grip and its Performance Plus with 3GEN grip both received Hot List gold ratings in Golf Digest. The grip Hot List appeared in Golf Digest's November issue. Judges reviewed 52 grips and selected their top 10 based on the grip's technology story, playability and feel. Only four grips received a gold rating, with Lamkin grips accounting for two of them. In addition, Lamkin's Crossline Tour grip received a silver rating.
Both gold-rated grips feature Lamkin's patent-pending 3GEN material, a synthetic rubber that dampens vibration and stays tacky in all weather conditions. The material will not absorb any moisture and can be easily wiped for a fresh feel and excellent traction. It continually performs better if it's cleaned regularly.

Lamkin will unveil several new models using 3GEN material, including:
R.E.L. 3GEN STAN DARD
Lamkin’s first 3GEN model with a traditional taper. Unlike our Performance Plus and N-DUR 3GEN models that have a reduced taper and larger bottom hand, the R.E.L. was patterned after the profile of Lamkin’s Crossline, our best selling and most-popular grip on Tour.
Another distinguishing feature: a revised surface pattern provides maximum grip surface area, thus exposing more of the 3GEN material to the surface of the hand. The grip, by the way, bears the initials of former company head Robert E. Lamkin.
PERMA-WRAP CLASSIC WHITE WITH 3GEN
With so much demand for our white grips in 2010, we’ve now debuted the Perma-Wrap Classic Standard in solid white. Made with our popular 3GEN material -- which also debuted in 2010 -- it’s the only Perma-Wrap grip offered in 3GEN this year. Perma-Wrap Classic Standard White with 3GEN is made with a seamless cylinder mold, as opposed to a two-piece mold. The advantage is we don’t have to buff the grip, so it leaves the grip incredibly tacky. In fact, it’s the tackiest grip we make.
