Defending champion John Frye shot 73--220 to finish second, three shots in front of third-place finisher Winn Tutterow. The tournament was for players 50 and older.

Bobby McMahan won the Super Seniors division (age 60 and up) with a final-round 69 for a 212 total. Bob Schweitzer was second after a final-round 67 lifted him to a 214.

George Epps captured the Super Super Seniors division (age 70 and up), shooting a final-round 75 for a 222 total. Terry Blankenship finished second at 224.

Hall made two birdies during the final round, on the par-3 11th and par-4 17th. He bogeyed the par-5 seventh, the par-3 eighth and the par-3 14th.

"I've been playing good," Hall said. "I felt comfortable. I was hitting the ball consistently, and it was good playing with people I know. I took my lumps where I could."
