BARRINGTON, RI. (Sept. 29, 2010) -- Rhode Island Country Club's Gary McLane birdied the third playoff hole to defeat George Donnell (Quidnessett CC) and capture the 52nd Senior Amateur Championship. He shot 72 one-over-par today in very difficult condition, the wind blowing 25-30 mph most of the day and the rain coming sideways on and off for most of the back nine.

Defending champion Paul Quigley (Swansea CC) shot even par 71 but fell one stroke short at 144 which was good enough to capture the Super Senior Championship.

In the Legends Division Wannamoisett's Jim Baxter defended his title to win for the second year in a row.
