Oklahoma Mid-Am: Alsup fires final round 69 for 3 shot win
Michael Alsup
2010 OGA Mid-Amateur Champion
EDMOND, OK. (Sept. 28, 2010) -- Michael Alsup (73-69--142) came from one stroke back to win the 2010 Oklahoma Mid-Amateur Championship by three strokes over Craig Poet (72-73--145).
"It was a good ballstriking round," said Alsup after his round. "My drives were good, and I usually have a tendency to be a little erratic off the tee. I'm really happy to win this on this course. At 54, I don't expect to have a lot more chances."
Kermit Frank finished solo third with scores of 73-77--150 and Brad Kropp (76-76--152) tied fourth with Brian Key (75-77-152).
