- KGA photo
Reigning Kentucky Open champion Andy Roberts was not in full control after 27 holes of the Kentucky Golf Association's Mid-Amateur Championship. But, Roberts buckled down the last nine holes, carding a one-under-par 35, to post a round two score of 73.
Roberts' two day total of 142 was two shots better than Tyler Sharpe. Sharpe tried to make up his seven shot deficit after round one by firing a low round tying 69. The rounds other 69 was carded by Louisville's Davis Boland.
In the Super Mid-Amateur Division, Tom Sheuerman continued his solid play by posting an even par 72. Sheuerman won by two shots over David Pohlmann.
