Dave and Perry Graciano win the Brothers Championhip
VERONA, PA (August 4, 2010) -- After winning the 1977 and 1978 Brothers Championships at Shannopin, it was assumed the Dave and Perry Graciano would win many more. That didn't happen until August 4, 2010, when the duo shot 69 to edge two teams by one stroke. The 32 year gap between victories is the longest in Association history.

ABOUT THE WPGA Brothers
First contested in 1950 in honor of two
brothers
who had been killed in the World War II,
the
event has been held every year since
inception
at Shannopin Country Club and is
traditionally
held the first Friday in August. The
championship
is an 18-hole event, Chapman format, with
at
least one brother being a member of a
WPGA
Member Club. Gross and net competitions.
