The first team includes Scott Barton of Bend, Ore., Brandon Taylor of Corvallis, Ore., Justin Smithhisler of Winston, Ore. and Paul Peterson of Salem, Ore. The second team will be represented by Nick Chianello of Gresham, Ore., Isaiah Telles of Tualatin, Ore., Jack Dukeminier of Eugene, Ore. and Jesse Schutte of Florence, Ore. Damian Telles of The Dalles, Ore. is the first alternate.

In the Girls Division (15-17), Rebecca Kim of Tigard, Ore. shot 35-41--76 to come from behind to defeat first round leader Natalie Weber of Bend, Ore. Weber lost her 4-shot first round lead shooting 42-43--85. Kim, the defending Portland City champion, has dominated her division for the past year. She historically ranks among the best junior golfers ever in Oregon and is one of a select few girls to simultaneously hold the 4A Girls High School and State Junior Girls crown. She is also the reigning Oregon Women's Stroke Play champion. Kim now focuses on playing at the LPGA Safeway Classic.

Sharon Shin of West Linn, Ore., continued her remarkable season leading winning the Intermediate Girls Division (12-14) shooting a two round 5-over par total 75-76--151 to dominate her division by an incredible 18-strokes over her nearest competitor. Jarek Swanson of Forest Grove, Ore. won the Intermediate Boys Division (Boys 12-13).

Rose City Golf Course, the third oldest golf course in Oregon opened in 1923, and has played host to the Portland City Championship since its inception. The golf course is owned and managed by the City of Portland Parks and Recreation Department and has recently introduced a new irrigation system to its back-nine offering players a well-conditioned golf course.

The Portland City Golf Championships was renamed in honor of Rock Creek golf professional Bob Allard in 1997 and is partially funded from interest earned from a memorial contribution made in his name. Allard, inducted into the Oregon State University Sports Hall of Fame in 1991, won the PAC-10 title in 1969 and was the 1972 U.S. Public Links Champion.
