Palmer wins playoff at South Carolina Senior

OKATIE, South Carolina (May 13, 2010) -- Bill Palmer survived a hard charging Mike Gravley and a sudden death playoff to win his second South Carolina G.A. Senior Championship in four years at the Oldfield Club in Okatie, SC.
Palmer’s three day total of seven under par 209 was enough to capture the title once again.
The SCGA Senior Championship is an opportunity for amateurs over the age of 55 years to gather and test their abilities against some of the best golfers and golf courses that South Carolina has to offer.
Since a format change to the event in 2003, the Senior Championship has been to prestigious venues such as The Reserve Club in Pawleys Island, Colleton River & Greenville C.C.'s Chanticleer course.
