DOVE CANYON, Nov. 17 -- George Downing and Kevin Marsh closed a two-stroke deficit this afternoon, for a come-from-behind victory and second consecutive win at the 19th SCGA Four-Ball Championship at Dove Canyon CC. The duo was 11 under par for the event, 67-62--129.

The Santa Barbara team was in a four-way tie for fourth entering the final round, and still two shots back after 27 holes. Marsh-Downing rallied for a two-stroke victory, however, over first-round leaders Joe Sanders-Bill Albers and Lewis Beshoff-Neil Moore. Marsh, the 2008 SCGA Amateur champion and multiple SCGA titleholder, shot a 63 on his own ball.

Co-first-round leaders Tim Hogarth and John Pate shot 8-under-par 132 for fourth place, while Jeff Coburn and Gabriel Armendariz finished fifth at 133.
