Sullivan wins Santa Barbara County
LOMPOC, Calif. (Sept 27, 2009) -- At some courses, even par isn't just a good score -- it's a REALLY good score. That's the case with Lompoc's beautiful La Purisima Golf Course, where Dan Sullivan won the Santa Barbara County with a tournament total of 144.
Sullivan's Sunday round of 1-under 71 was not only the lowest of the tournament, it also allowed him to jump ahead of a crowded pack of capable players that had shot 73 in the first round, including Jeremy Moreno and motorcycle champ Jason Pridmore of Ventura County.
