Following are match play results:
Round One: 7-25
- Number one seed Mike Stieler was upset by the number 16 seed Jason Simonetti, who ended it on the 17th hole winning 3&1.
- Trevor Guthrie, the number two seed, rolled through number fifteen seed Ricky Stockton 3&2.
- Number three seed Matt Christensen ended his match early winning 5&4 over opponent Matt Oehlschlaeger.
- Local celebrity and number four seed Danny Paniccia shut the door on the number thirteen seed Greg Loosigian on the fifteenth green winning 4&3.
- Number twelve seed Mike McGuire upset number five seed Ryan Arnold 2&1.
- George McKean, the number six seed battled to the eighteenth hole but fell to the eleven seed and former Fresno City College stand-out Keith Rodriguez who won 2up.
- In Round One’s ‘Iron Man’ match, the Higton brothers, number seven seed Jason and number ten seed Ryan, went blow for blow through twenty two holes until Jason was able outlast his brother winning 1up.
- Finally, in impressive fashion, number nine seed Keith Okasaki closed out his match on the twelfth, winning 7&6 over his eighth seed opponent, Christian Rose.

- Keith Rodriguez, number eleven seed, grinds through another victory taking the eighteenth hole to win 2up over the third seed Matt Christensen.
- In his second extra-hole match of the day, number 7 seed Jason Higton won the twentieth hole to overtake the number two seed Trevor Guthrie.
