Bakersfield City Am: Balanz secures title No. 4
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (July 29, 2007)-- For the fourth time in 28-year history of the Bakersfield City Amateur local golfer John Balanz named the champion after two rounds of play.
Balanz needed an eagle on the second playoff hole this time to top Ron Killmer, who started the day six strokes of the pace but was able to close the gap.
Balanz earlier won the titles in 1996, '99 and 2001.

Championship (max handicap 3) and Presidents
