COVINGTON, Georgia (April 20, 2009) -- In Tampa, Florida, this weekend, World Golf Hall of Fame member Nick Price and Bridgestone Golf teamed up for a couple of big firsts.

Using a field-leading 18 birdies, Price recorded his first-ever career Champions Tour victory and the first professional win of any kind for the new 4-piece Bridgestone TOUR B330 golf ball.  Price set the last 6 holes of TPC Tampa Bay golf course ablaze on Sunday, registering three birdies in a row on three of the final six holes (#13, #14 and #15), including the most difficult hole on the course (#15) to record a two-stroke victory, posting a three-round total of 204 (9-under par).

Price utilized the incredible feel and consistency of the new B330 to finish at or near the top of several statistical categories in the Outback Steakhouse Pro-Am.  Price finished 1st in putts per greens-in-regulation (1.55), 1st in total birdies (18), 3rd in putts per round (27), T6th in Driving Accuracy (85.7%) and T11th in greens-in-regulation (74.1%). In addition, Price recorded one of his best weeks in driving distance - averaging 274.5 yards off the tee - including a blistering 297 yards average off the tee in the first round.
