HERCULES, Calif. (August 24, 2008) -- Despite increasing his score by 12 strokes from Saturday to Sunday, St. Mary's College golf coach Scott Hardy won a sudden-death playoff over the consistent Ken McReady (71-71) to win the 2008 West County Amateur at Franklin Canyon G.C.
Bill Donaldson won the Net Division title.
